The creation of the Pickled Crab has taken a few years to complete. First, we had to find the perfect location and then the perfect building to house my concept.
We were extremely lucky that the iconic Giovannis Restaurant came onto the market. Giovanni – a complete legend in his own right- decided, after 30 years of running an excellent Italian restaurant with a massive following, to retire. This gave us the opportunity we had been waiting for: to put our love of shellfish and seafood into its new home, on Smith Street.
Over the years, We have built a great network of suppliers (some are listed below), without their passion for quality our concept certainly wouldn’t be possible. So your job is just to kick back, enjoy our craft ales and stunningly simple food.
